Imagine your brain is like your computer. You have icons on your desktop which allow to quickly and easily access programs (good programs) that you require to achieve your goals. If you need to write a paper you click on the word processing icon and the appropriate program opens up for you to use. There are many. many good, useful programs that you have downloaded onto your computer and many are easily accessible through shortcut icons on your desktop.
There are also programs running in the background of your computer. Programs that do not require to have an icon on your desktop as you don't often need to access them such as your video, sound and memory cards. These programs are good programs and are essential to the operation of your system.
However, hidden in the background there can be other programs running.
